Software Engineering Team

Software Engineering Team plays vital role in C-DIT’s capacity role as a Total solution Provider to the Govt. of Kerala. SET is well known for its e-governance and digitization related projects and initiatives. Most of its projects have helped the State Govt. and public in simplifying many public facilities. SET had served a major role in the statewide promotion and implementation of various IT schemes for the Govt. of Kerala. The major functional areas of SET include complete office automation, web enabled office applications, digitization of documents, digital heritage archiving, IT enabled services and corporate training. The team has a bunch of highly skilled programmers/developers with interface to work on vibrant areas of softwaredevelopment using Java, C++, VB, VC, asp.Net, Java script, PHP etc.

Ongoing Projects

1	VVC Online - Web based automation of all the activities of all the offices of Kerela State Women’s Development Corporation
2	e-Grantz – a web based grants distribution system for the SC/ST Development Dept, for the timely disbursement of scholarships/ Lump sum grant /stipend and other allowances to SC/ST students.
3	BCDC Online - Web based automation of all the activities of all the offices of Kerela State Backward Classes Development Corporation
4	Digital Library @ KIRTADS – Computerization and setting up of an online digital library for KIRTADS, Calicut
5	Churuna Digitization- Digitization of Churunas for Archives Dept.
6	KexComp - Web based automation of all the activities of the Kerela State Ex-Service men Development & Rehabilitation Corporation
7	Setting up of online digital library for the Kerala Sahithya Academy, Thrissur.
8	Land Fair value – development and implementation of web based search engine and database of land fair value for Registration Dept

Important projects Undertaken

1	Development and implementation of “Digital Image Printer”, an innovative device for the digitisation of documents at all the 308 sub-registrar offices in Kerala for Registration Dept., Govt. of Kerala
2	Survey Archives – a MAP Digitisation system with search engine, intalled at Central Survey Office , Trivandrum using an innovative device “Digital Imaging System”, developed by SET for Survey & Land Records Dept., Govt. of Kerala
3	e-Pusthakam - an information and data retrieval system for books / magazines/ journals digitized at Kerala Sahithya Academy, Thrissur.
4	VACB Suite – a web based total automation system for State Vigilance & Anti Corruption Bureau interconnecting all the day today activities of all the Vigilance & Anti Corruption Bureau units/ offices in Kerala.
5	Paithrukam – an information and data retrieval system for manuscripts/ leaves digitized at ORI & MSS Library, Karyavattom for University of Kerala. Had digitized over 2lakh palm leaves.
6	VC & VT suite – an office application suite for the computerization of all the activities of the Vigilance Courts & Tribunals of Kerala
7	CAMS - Online Banking software for BSNL Employees Cooperative Society, Thiruvananathapuram
8	Pharma Care – Computerized billing and inventory system for the Medical College Paying Counter, Thiruvananathapuram.
9	PHL Suite - Computerization of all the day to day office activities of Public Health Laboratory, Thiruvananathapuram
10	Web based Information Kiosk for SCDD, Govt. of Kerala.
