C-DIT is the only one public sector security hologram production center in the country, having a total in-house R&D production capability with international standards. The mission of C-DIT  is to become a leading service provider and product inventor in Imaging Technology for the entire mediainformation community.

Optical techniques are being increasingly applied in advanced information technology due to its inherent speed and potentials for high-density information storage. Optical fibers, photonic chips, flat panel displays, and optical fiber based active components, optical variable devices etc. are a few examples in this regard. C-DIT has entered into the other thrust area of biometric networking for preventing forgery. Biometric networking can effectively eliminate duplicate/double entries.
